The "before" was one of my very first deviations on dA from back in 2004, pretty embarrassing crazy.

Safe to say a lot of improvement, no? 8D _{(well it IS an 8 year difference).}
The piece from 2004 was drawn on with a mouse on probably windows 98plus (maybe 2000??), a CRT monitor at 800x600 or so resolution and drawn on opencanvas and paintshop pro..my, how times have changed.
I have learned a lot since then ! *pats 2004-me on the back*

I titled the new piece 'Metamorphosis' because it's a transformation into something that is more matured, different, and refreshed (a breath of new life!), while still having the same essence/soul as the original. The title reflects the piece itself and also my own development in skills and complexity.
